Degaus Privacy Policy

Degaus Privacy Policy

DEGAUS TECHNOLOGIES LTD (trading as “Degaus”) (“Degaus,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website Degaus.com (the “Website”), and provides its customers with the computer platform “Degaus Platform” (the “Platform”) and other services and functions, as specified in the Degaus Terms and Conditions (the “Services”). DEGAUS TECHNOLOGIES LTD is a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16769117) with registered office at 81 Palace Court, London, England, W2 4JE.
Degaus is committed to transparency in the processing of information. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your personal data. “Personal data” means any information that is directly linked or can be linked to you. Capitalised terms not otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy have the meaning given in the Degaus Terms and Conditions.

When the Privacy Policy applies

This Privacy Policy applies where Degaus acts as a data controller of your personal data. This includes when we collect information from and about visitors to our Website, job candidates, prospective users and customers, and users of the Platform (collectively, “you”).

When the Privacy Policy does not apply

You may collect and manage personal data when using the Platform or other Services. In such cases, Degaus acts as a data processor, not a data controller, of personal data that we process under your instructions and on your behalf. For clarity, this Privacy Policy does not apply where Degaus processes personal data as a data processor. We are not responsible for your privacy or data security practices. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, consents, or other legal basis for processing such personal data and for instructing us to process it on your behalf.
This Privacy Policy also does not apply to personal data about current and former Degaus employees or to contractors and agents acting in similar roles.
PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY TO UNDERSTAND HOW WE HANDLE YOUR PERSONAL DATA. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT USE OUR WEBSITE OR THE SERVICES.

Upon your request and after verifying your identity, Degaus will provide you with information about the personal data we have collected from you, including whether we hold your personal data or process it on behalf of a third party. Our Website, Platform, and Services are not directed to children under 18, and we will not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18 without verified parental consent. We may also disclose aggregate information to third parties for business purposes. Aggregate information will not include any personal information, and we will not disclose any personal information except as expressly stated in this Privacy Policy.
